Born in Madagascar, South Midongy, Pierrot Men is a photographer. He lives in Fianarantsoa where he runs a photographic laboratory. Since 1985, he exhibits every year in the main cities of Madagascar. His photographs have been published in a number of books, including the most recent ones: Un jour dans ka vie de l’Afrique (Paris, Filipacchi, 2002), Intimate Memories of a New Millennium (Paris, edited by Eric Koehler, 2001) Inside (Groningen, Noordelicht, 2000).
