Nguyen Dang Hoang, from the Province of Thua Thien Hue, has been making kites since his childhood.

He tries to beat world record by making pieces that are several hundreds meters long. In 2000 he made a 140-meter-long kite on the occasion of the Hue Kite Festival, which made him appear in the Vietnam Record Book.

He learned his art from old masters who passed on their know-how to him. His main tool is a big knife he uses on bamboo.

He presented his work during the FITE 2014.
