Nguyen Dang Hoang, from the Province of Thua Thien Hue, has been making kites since his childhood.<\/p>\n

He tries to beat world record by making pieces that are several hundreds meters long. In 2000 he made a 140-meter-long kite on the occasion of the Hue Kite Festival, which made him appear in the Vietnam Record Book.<\/p>\n

He learned his art from old masters who passed on their know-how to him. His main tool is a big knife he uses on bamboo.<\/p>\n

He presented his work during the\u00a0FITE 2014<\/a>.<\/p>\n
